The Tennis Loadout

Analyse my gear

An honest read on what you already own.

Pick your exact racket, string and shoes, tell us who is swinging them, and get prioritised findings — urgent mismatches first, then upgrades, things worth testing, and what to keep. Your player profile is saved locally on this device so Build and Analyse can reuse it. It is not stored on our servers. Sensitive health and measurement details are removed from shared links.

1. Player and courtAge, height, level, schedule, surface and adult-frame readiness.

178 cm — racket length is judged on height, not age.

Physical strength for your age
Speed and endurance around the court
Has a coach or parent confirmed readiness for adult (27 in) equipment?

Matters most for players under 16. Height and strength still drive the call; age alone never does.

2. Racket and gripCurrent length, on-court readiness and measured grip evidence.
Length of the racket you use today
With that racket, which of these are true?

Why we ask: height guides are ranges, not ceilings. If a 27-inch frame already works on court we will not suggest going shorter.

Anything going wrong with it?
Grip size (optional)

Why we ask: grip size cannot be derived from height. Without a known size or a hand measurement we say “measure before buying” instead of naming one.

Measure from the tip of your ring finger to the second crease of your palm, then match that length to a grip size, or hold a frame and check a finger fits between fingertips and palm.

3. Comfort and shoe fitArm history, string use, foot shape, soreness and current shoe fit.
Any current or recent pain?

Kept on this device only and never included in a shared loadout.

Arm, elbow or shoulder history

Why we ask: this is the single biggest influence on frame stiffness, string material and tension. Stays on this device.

How often do you break a string?

Why we ask: it is the most honest signal of racket-head speed and spin we can collect without sensors.

Swing shape and speed

Why we ask: swing shape drives how much mass suits you more than static weight does.

Humidity changes how fast strings lose tension.

Drives how much outsole durability you actually need.

Foot width
Foot comfort (optional)

Why we ask this: it decides which shoe shapes and widths we can honestly suggest. Nothing here is a diagnosis, and it stays on your device.

How your current shoe fits
Does it create a pressure point?

Why we ask this: a pressure point rules out low-volume shoes even when the length is right.

How do they fit?

Talk to a person too. Junior racket transitions, persistent pain and injury concerns should be discussed with a qualified coach, stringer or medical professional as appropriate. Demo before buying.
